AZFO membership

If you find our web site informative and believe in our mission statement, we strongly encourage you to support us by becoming an active member. The more active members we have, the stronger AZFO can become and the more endeavors we can pursue.

As AZFO is progressing, we are beginning to acquire more expenses such as for our web site and the initial cost of becoming a non-profit/tax-exempt organization. Membership dues also provide base funding to begin plans for our first annual AZFO membership meeting/conference.

Members only will receive copies of the AZFO Bulletin (email distributed newsletter), will be able to participate in our enjoyable and educational Field Expeditions, have one vote in elections of officers and other members of the board of directors, and all matters covered in annual AZFO meetings/conferences. Additional members-only items will be added as the organization progresses.

Dues are payable annually for one calendar year of membership, and membership renewal is due within three months of the annual renewal date of January 1. Dues received for new memberships after October 1 will serve to cover membership for the upcoming year. Membership dues are set at the following rates.

Regular - $25.00

Student - $15.00

Organization - $35.00 (i.e. museums, libraries, universities, etc.)

Family - $35.00
