Prothonotary Warbler (Protonotaria citrea), Sweetwater Wetlands, Pima County

This Prothonotary Warbler was discovered by Jerry Bock and photographed by Andrew Core on 02 September 2009 at the Hidden Pond in Sweetwater Wetlands. 

Prothonotary Warbler is a rare transient throughout Arizona, but occurs annually.

Note the orange-yellow body contrasting with the plain blue-gray wings.  White undertail coverts.
