Prothonotary Warbler (Protonotaria citrea), Silverbell Lake, Columbus Park, Tucson, Pima County

This Prothonotary Warbler was discovered and photographed by Lois Manowitz on 28 October 2011.

Prothonotary Warbler is a rare but annual transient in the state.

Note the bright yellow head and body, grayish-bluish wings without wingbars, and white undertail coverts.
