Streak-backed Oriole (Icterus pustulatus), Tubac Bridge, Sant Cruz River, Santa Cruz County

This Streak-backed Oriole was discovered and photographed by Moez Ali on 29 January 2012.  It was also photographed on 30 January 2012 by Bryan Patrick.

Casual vistior, mostly in fall and winter.  17 previous accepted records, with two more pending. 

Adult male with bright flame orange-red head and chest, especially brightest in malars and cheeks, entire underparts bright orange, heavy white wing edgings, yellow-orange back with dark streaks, all black tail with white outer tips and heavy dark bill with gray base and straight upper mandible.
