Baltimore Oriole (Icterus galbula), Ash Canyon B&B, Cochise County

This Baltimore Oriole was found and photographed by Rolando Garcia on 15 September 2015

Rare migrant with 32 accepted records and several pending. Appears to be increasing in recent years. Removed from the ABC review list in 2015.

Though very similar to a Bullock's Oriole, note that the brighest orange is on the chest, the face is cast with a brownish color, the white on the greater coverts is limited to neat tips not extending onto the feather edgings, and the median coverts appear all-white, not showing dark centers.
