Brown Thrasher (Toxostoma rufum), Doney Park, Coconino County

This Brown Thrasher was photographed by Jason Wilder on 18 February 2017

This bird has been present at a private residence in the Doney Park area of Flagstaff for much of the winter.

Brown Thrasher is a casual fall, winter and spring visitor. Usually fewer than 1 or 2 are found every year.

Long tail with rufous-red on back and entire upper body from head to tail. Heavily streaked breast and under parts.
