Harris's Sparrow (Zonotrichia querula), Yard west of Maricopa, Pinal County

This Harris's Sparrow was found and photographed by Nancy Benner on 11 November 2019

Rare transient and winter visitor in Arizona.

Underparts whitish with dark brown smudgy markings along flanks and breast. Head and face warm brown with spotted crown and black bib. Bill large and pinkish orange.
