Rufous-backed Robin (Turdus rufopalliatus), Jakes Corner, Gila County

Rufous-backed Robin is a casual transient and winter visitor to central and southeast Arizona in habitats ranging from lowland riparian areas to mid-elevation canyons. This bird was found Saturday 11 February 2007 by Sarah and Chauncey Wood at Jakes Corner in Gila County, and may represent a first record for the county. Rufous-backed Robin is an ABC sketch details species. For record-keeping, sightings should be documented with brief descriptive details or photos.
