About the event
We are excited to sponsor this half-day Field Expedition! Lake Havasu attracts AZ rarities such as Yellow-billed and Red-throated Loon, Glaucous and Lesser Black-backed Gull, and the infamous Yellow-footed Gull in 2022. Our guide will be on the boat to help with challenging gull ID, and the lake can also host scoters, grebes, and other wintering waterfowl. Note also, for free parking, look for two large red flags by a dirt parking lot that read "Boat Rentals" . There is a fee if you park in the nearby Lake Havasu State Park.
